He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Mining & Crushing of Iron Ore and Stone Aggregates, DRI (sponge Iron) manufacturing, Strap Packaging and Optimization of HR & CR Coils (8.5 Million Ton at Tata Steel works Jamshedpur & Kalinganagar). His vision for reducing Carbon footprint has led to the formation of SWIFT STRIPS INDIA Pvt. Ltd to recycle Aluminium. In the upcoming year we will lead the company into high end technology product manufacturing with the support of the Prestigious National Metallurgical Ltd., Jamshedpur.
CONTRIBUTION TO ENVIRONMENT
Aluminium Recycling is an environment-friendly business as Aluminium is endlessly recyclable andhelps in conserving the resources available on earth. As per industry estimates every 1 tonne of aluminium manufactured through primary route consumes 4-6 tonnes of bauxite, 1-1.5 tonne of limestone, 20-22 cubic meter of water, and ~14,000 Kwh of power.
As against this, manufacturing of 1 tonne aluminium from the recycled route consumes aluminium scrap as a key raw material (saving natural resources) and consumes only 5-7% of the total power required for primary aluminium, thereby saving natural resources and being energy efficient. Furthermore, each tonne of tonne of aluminium ingot manufactured through primary route emits ~3830 Kg of CO2, as compared to emission of ~290 kg of CO2 manufactured through scrap recycling.
